Chuck, I love the advise, And I too have a flickr site, and have all the( almost all) quilts that either I or my clients have made, I think at last count there was 105, not very many. Only about 5 have been commissioned quilts. I have left my business cards at a couple of quilt shops, but alot of these shops already have there favorite Longarm quilters. What to do, what to do??? Marie PS, glad your back

Chuck, Glad you're back...How 'bout those Giants!! ;-) Thanks for the neat website. My sis & I are starting our sewing/quilting business in babysteps as we both still work full time for the next couple of years. I enjoy and learn from your comments and go back to your book from time to time for information & advice. Keep up the great work. PS-there was no quilting at my hours during the playoffs, loved every (well, almost) minute of them.

Days...it will take me days to get thru this "ETSY" site and look at all of the lovlies...that I notice most is.."Hey, I can do that"...I've been an artist since I can remember, marching to the tune of a different drummer....taking a craft and 'going' with it. And always thought I was sort of a 'weirdo'...come to find out...all these years what I've been doing is really art. My main forte is w/c pencils and love that medium although do watercolour and oils occassionally..but I like the pencils as I can draw while my husband is asleep and I'm laying in bed and it doesn't bother him...when I quilt I have to get up and go to my studio and it's so cram packed with projects
it's hard to find what I want. If I move something in there, I'm lost. I don't know if I'd ever get brave enough to tackle selling anything, but it surely nice to know I'm on the same level par with others...keep up the nice work everyone...ML
